Yes, the 4 GB to spare is referring to the factory shipped disk, so if files have been saved to it, those would get subtracted. It should all fit on the typical disk though, and if it didn't there are various options available. (moving Drums folder to C:\ drive etc., deleting a few realtracks etc.).

1. If it was me ordering, upgrading an existing BB Ultra 2009 (or Everything) hard drive I would consider that $149 drive (160GB), since you'll then end up with a plug n play solution, an extra hard drive, and 84GB free on the 160GB drive (for the extra $50 you pay over the $99 DVD edition of the Summer PAK).

2. BTW, we have the same solution for the audiophile upgrade (upgrading a previous audiophile version to current audiophile) - $199 for the works installed on a 1 TB drive (though the 1 TB drive needs an AC plugin)
