F5 is a VERY powerful Key.When you press it, you will find so many things it can do for you.
But for now, suppose you want to mute the Guitar at Bar5 and want it back in at Bar9. Go to Bar5, press F5 and see the list of instruments on the left. Find the guitar one, click it open and click "mute". Go to Bar9, do it again, and this time click "back to normal". Press Regen and Play and you will hear that it doesn't play between 5 and 9.
