Hi All
Just tried to use the Bar Based Section Letters to identify various sections of a song and although the list shows normal letter, the results in the selected bar shows letters with accents.
Anyone know the reason for this and how to resove the issue?
This has only happened with the 431 update.

Accents like French accent marks?
Are you using a keyboard designed for a country other than the USA? There were a few problems of UK keyboards fixed in the most recent update, so perhaps this is an unintended consequence?

Hi Matt,
Yes, exactly like that, although not all because some are really weird.
Like an "O" with a diagonal strike through on it.
I am using a UK keyboard and I don't have this problem with any other applications and it worked OK with previous revisions of BB

Just checked that and the only language there is "USA English"

By the way, if you change the font for the Chordsheet, does the problem persist?

Just changed about half dozen fonts in chord sheet, but that has no effect.
Will contact PG as you suggest.

Did you install the music fonts? Running the installers should install the fonts. If you just ran the program without installing this would happen.

Not Peter, but I think he might advise that you need to run the Setup file in a new installation instead of just copying files. This refers to the new 2016 version, not to updates like 431. There are about 7 fonts by PG Music that must be installed on your PC, even if you choose to run BIAB only from the USB drive.

Just re-installed the fonts from the main program and hey presto....all back to normal again.
