Do/Have any of you work in schools either as full-time / part-time, or after-school music teachers.

I am trying to introduce and expand the role of BB/RB in the NYC DOE School system because the program has so much to offer.

If you have taught large groups of students (NYC schools often have 25 to 32), or if you just want to try making suggestions based on the setting of teaching 25 to 30 beginners, please share your suggestions and/or experience...in using BB/RB to enhance instruction and enthusiasm.

Notice that the idea of teaching children in classrooms is not so different from starting a community organization of music enthusiasts - for which BB/RB is also an obvious boon...To this point - has anyone started such an organization - open to members of the community around some music topic ?
