Just moved from BIAB 2010.5 to 2015. I usually used the audio render option where you click on the floppy disk icon with the microphone across it. When I rendered this way the waveform would become .aif or .wav at the volume I set in my session. If ya'll remember, there was a little box that allowed you to increase the db if you wished by increments of 1, 2, 3, etc.

Now, in 2015 that little box option is gone. Only the Normalize check box is still there. NOW - whatever I render, no matter at what volume I set in my session, the wav or air files come in at full volume when I import them into Pro Tools or Logic. I mean, the waveform is super-block maxed out - all the individual audio files look like they are part of a Mastered track where the compression and limiting is set to max so there are dynamics in the wave file.

I did try using the DropBox option and if I check "render audio files separately" and drag the Master into the Drop box it seems to work - - - but I like the old way because if creates a folder of my files I can easily find later. SO - why even have the "old floppy microphone" icon option if it imports audio files at a volume level of 127 no matter what?
