Brian, Welcome to the forum. Band in a box is mapped to a US keyboard layout. When I look at your slash key, I see that it is shift+7. This would be why BIAB types 7. On the graphic below, I have highlighted which key is the slash on my keyboard. Try that and see if it gives a slash chord.  I'm not sure if the above will work but a number of times people have reported in the forums that it's key location that can determine what's typed. It's worth a shot. If that doesn't work, it is possible to use Chord Builder to enter slash chords. Regards, Noel
