I've recently upgraded my copy of pdf995, and find that the very readable PGText font that I can see in my leadsheets on screen or on paper is no longer appearing on the pdf version, being replaced by a blocky bold font whose characters run into one another.

To cut a long story short, I found that this is because the PGText.ttf is set up not to allow "embedding" in a document - this forces pdf995 to put a substitute font in its place when creating a pdf file of a song.

Curiously, none of the other PG????.ttf series of fonts is affected.

I'm not sure whether this is a deliberate policy of PG - if so I think it is counterproductive.

Instructions on how to disable the "no-embedding" rule can be found at http://cg.scs.carleton.ca/~luc/embed.html
