lambada, Thank you! You inspired me to do a bit of playing around to see if it's possible to move midi melody from either the Melody track or the Soloist track and put it on (say) the String track. I always like going on voyages of discovery! It can be done. Give me a couple of days and I'll write a post for the "Tips and Tricks" forum that explains how I did it. Regards, Noel
