Yep, that was it. I uninstalled and purged all versions of Sforzando from my PC and then re-installed from the BIAB 2017 installer. All working fine now. Thanks for all the suggestions. I think there should be a warning or FAQ somewhere telling users who might have Plogue versions installed previously to either remove them or find someway to distinguish between the different versions. The actual version number in the PG Music version is 1.873, which is in fact a lesser version number than the latest Plogue one.
