Well it seems odd to me.
Started out with an all midi style (Moon River) and it plays just fine using Forte for the midi sounds. (I believe the SGU was a Notes Norton one (although it doesnt say it in the Memo. If its OK with “Notes” to post the SGU as an attachment, I'll do it).
I wanted to try a few different instruments. The Piano track is good old 1-Acoustic Piano and it plays fine. I decided to try an Hi-Q. Hi-Q 019-02 Organ, Electric. Sforzando instead. The track description changed and it plays correctly. Then I changed to an MST – 1801 Synth Pad. The description changed but it still played the Hi-Q Organ.
So I tried a different MST – 1809 Piano, Rhythm, Country. This time I get a note on screen asking if I want to “add this “super patch” to Hi-Q 001 – Piano”. What? Are MSTs and Hi-Qs the same thing? Why do I get a message for one and not the other? Anyway, I did this and it played the correct Piano.
Didnt like it so tried to go back to the original 1-Acoustic piano straightforward midi but BB wouldnt let me, even though I clicked on it. The only way was to come out, unsaved, and then re-start the SGU. Surely that can't be right?
Continuing on – I tried to change back from MST's to an Hi-Q – this time Hi-Q 025-02 Guitar, nylon. The Description did NOT change (it continued to read the previous description) but it WAS playing the Guitar.
And in all of this was it not possible to get back to any previous position. The only was is Out and Start again.
The above are only examples. It happens with pretty much any choice and change therein that you care to make.
Does anyone else find this please?
Ian
