So I tried a different MST – 1809 Piano, Rhythm, Country. This time I get a note on screen asking if I want to “add this “super patch” to Hi-Q 001 – Piano”. What? Are MSTs and Hi-Qs the same thing? Why do I get a message for one and not the other? Anyway, I did this and it played the correct Piano.
Didnt like it so tried to go back to the original 1-Acoustic piano straightforward midi but BB wouldnt let me, even though I clicked on it. The only way was to come out, unsaved, and then re-start the SGU. Surely that can't be right?
Continuing on – I tried to change back from MST's to an Hi-Q – this time Hi-Q 025-02 Guitar, nylon. The Description did NOT change (it continued to read the previous description) but it WAS playing the Guitar.
And in all of this was it not possible to get back to any previous position. The only was is Out and Start again.
The above are only examples. It happens with pretty much any choice and change therein that you care to make.
Does anyone else find this please?

Some of the MST's have a HiQ patch assigned to them. Actually it is a specific VST configuration, which is, typically just the HiQ patch. (This is sort of like getting the instrument + arrangement together when you select a RealTracks instrument). When you load in one of these MST's it should ask you to confirm if you want to load in the patch too.

If you said "yes", you can still change the HiQ patch by using the normal HiQ selection menu. If you want to hear a NON HiQ patch (i.e. a regular MIDI patch played through the default synth, you'll have to set the HiQ patch to "No Preset Wanted", which is the top item in the HiQ selection dialog.

Note that if you load in a MIDI SuperTracks style (i.e. one of the M_*.sty styles from the StylePicker), that will automatically load in any HiQ patches called for in the style, and will not give you the prompt for each track.
