There are often songs with chords on 2+ or something like ^^Gm, but i think it's too complicated to place those off-beats chords on the right position. And sometimes there are more than 4 chord changes per bar.
It would be easier with a microraster of 8 or 16 beats (variable) like a drum pattern in a sequencer program. So you have 16 positions per bar to place the chord.
