All of us at PG Music were deeply saddened to hear the news of Ed Buckley's passing. Ed was a wonderful trumpet and alto sax player.

Ed was a longtime customer, best tester and avid supporter of Band-in-a-Box. Many of us at PG Music have had the pleasure of speaking with him over the years. He was a very memorable guy - always friendly and just a joy to chat with.

Ed was a very active member of our forums as well. These forum posts are prime examples of the kind of guy he was.

Greetings new users!

Although BIAB is an extremely powerful program, it can be confusing to someone who doesn't have experience with computer based music. I also know that posting questions isn't something everyone feels comfortable doing. I'd like to offer my assistance and tips to anyone who is struggling, I've been using BIAB almost everyday since 1990 in the Atari days. I've been through just about every hurdle you can imagine, so please feel free to message me or just ask here, we all learn together, good luck and enjoy this amazing program!!
Edward

Greetings,

I've been a Jazz musician since the 1970s, seriously into Bebop, but I have to admit that while listening to all the amazing country style RT demos, I'm really getting into the spirit, I may have to invest in a Cowboy hat and Boots! I'm reminded of Louis Armstrong who said>There's only 2 kinds of music....good and bad!
I now have fond memories of my Dad, driving us around listening to "King of the Road, and having to watch "Hee-Haw" before "Lawrence Welk" on Saturday nights, at the time I thought it was torture, now I realize it was a great experience. Thanks BIAB for getting me out of my Jazz bubble.....anyone else have a similar experience to share?

Our condolences to his family and friends. Please know that you are in our thoughts.

You will be missed Ed.

Sincerely,

Team PG.
