Anyway, I would really like to learn a lot more about how they put things together. I haven't really studied them at length. Just a few surface-y kinds of things. I'm sure you all would be a wealth of knowledge on this!

here ya go...

Hi HTL, Hey, I've been in the same boat as you many of times.

In my opinion there are a couple of problems, first social media is a hard media to communicate on because people only see your words and not your body language, your eyes, your smile, your openness. If you were talking to someone in person you could say something rather bluntly and people would know you were just kidding or anyway not mean it in a negative manner.

Secondly, I have the problem in that I talk rather direct, to the point and probably sometimes blunt and you'll have some people who have no problem with it but others, the more sensitive ones, maybe their own issues will take offense.

Some people accept that it's okay to disagree and have ones own opinion, others think only they are right all the time and no one should think any differently.

There's an old saying "you can please some of the people some of the time, but not all of the people all of the time".

My advice take the dissenters with a grain of salt, usually it's their own issues doing the mirroring. Best to move on quickly and ignore the ones who have a problem.

Or another old saying "Don't try to teach a pig to sing, you'll annoy the pig and get dirty yourself". People will be what they will be and there ain't no use arguing or trying to change someone else's mind.

Or another old saying I love "Before you think you need to see a shrink, make sure in fact you aren't surrounded by a$$holes".

I have just seen the light and I was all WRONG! It is the first time in my life I have ever been wrong but it finally happened! Praise the Lord!!!!!!

I just talked to Hear to Learn on the phone for like an hour and was scratching my head on how to do a Rolling Stones soundalike for SongTradr.

But now, I know how to write a hit and Hear to Learn is my new best buddy!

Thank you Hear to Learn!!

Do you think this will ever get on the charts? Is it politically correct? Should I post it on the forum in a few days???

I might enter this into the Top 100 contest. I have 50 more now HTL. Coming your way buddy! I will call you tonight and sing you my new hip hop tune on the phone while you are trying to eat dinner. Talk soon man!!!!

Jumping Town
By David Snyder

V1

I should have known
after dark
You don’t go walking
In Central Park
Behind a bush
I could not see
A man in a black dress
Starting jumping over me
He was jumping up
And he was jumping down
He was jumping side to side
And he was jumping all around

CH

And you gotta watch your back
When there’s nowhere left to hide
You got to hold your junk
When you cannot run inside
You got to watch your business
Keep both feet on the ground
When you’re walking in the darkness
of Jumping Town

V2

There was a pretty divorcee
Who wasn’t divorced yet
She was married to the devil
And they had made a bet
They lived in Southampton
Never worked a day
But when the night came along
The mice would play
She played me for a fool
And I’m not finished yet
She stole all I had
Now I’m forever in her debt

CH

And you gotta watch your back
When there’s nowhere left to hide
You got to hold your junk
When you cannot run inside
You got to watch your business
Keep both feet on the ground
When you’re walking in the darkness
of Jumping Town

Bridge

You can cry ‘til your eyes are bleedin’
But you’ll never get what you need
You can want it all you want baby
But sometimes
You got to let it bleed

CH

And you gotta watch your back
When there’s nowhere left to hide
You got to hold your junk
When you cannot run inside
You got to watch your business
Keep both feet on the ground
When you’re walking in the darkness
of Jumping Town
