As a bit of a tinkerer myself, I like to look at different versions of Windows and what they can do.

If you have the license to get an enterprise version of the software, great! If the features like Cortana, Edge, etc do not interest you, this is a way to go.

I remember doing some research into this when I was reading about the illusive 'Windows 9'. What I learned in my research is that even if you were able to strip down all the, "Fluff", in Windows, you do not get a significant performance boost.

If performance is not what you are after, and just want to use a stripped down version of Windows 10, you can actually do so within the Pro.
