As soon as the BIAB VST3 plugin is selected in Mixcraft8, it freezes Mixcraft8 and has to be shut down using Task Manager. I have the latest version of both programs so any past issues that have been posted are no longer valid in both forums. This is the only plugin that I have that doesn't work with Mixcraft8.

Mixcraft8 is not the most popular DAW but it is surly popular with struggling musicians and song writers that are on a budget and can do as much and more, as some the more popular expensive DAWS. Being able to run VST plugins has certainly made Mixcraft8 worth its weight in gold. The BIAB VST plugin is one of the main reasons I purchased BIAB 2019, please just look into it PG MUSIC.

i have the same problem.
something that works for me is the following.

with mixcraft open i then open the bb vst
select a file or song demo or real track.
press generate, when generation has completed
drag the song or tracks into mixcraft...mixcraft then freezes
but if i right click the mixcraft icon in windows taskbar click close and then an option for mixcraft comes up saying song has changed ,do you want to save or cancel..i click cancel and mixcraft unfeezes and i can then carry on working...problem is i have to do this everytime i drag anything new into mixcraft.

one of these following guys had a work around also but i cant find the post at moment

running as admin,cleaned up returned to factory settings.
