hello i have reposted this because i posted in wrong forum.
scenario open any of the following daws mixcraft,bandlab,traktion,fl studio
open bb vst within the daw click select..style,track or file then i get the ..user account control box asking if program can make changes.. click yes.
stylepicker opens click style click load song demo user account box comes up again click ok the chords of the song demo load but no tracks. then the user account box comes up again, click ok then the tracks load in click generate and the user acount box comes up again..
it seems every action i take in the bb vst i get the user account control box.
all bb programs and vst are set to run as admin. running 614 factory reset and everything rebuilt.
is this normal. thanks

yes all bb exe files set to run as admin and all the bb vst/daw exe set to run as admin.

You can create an elevated shortcut to run bbw4 bypassing the UCA but you will have to run Standalone manually then the shortcut and in the Preferences set it Keep BBW Open, this should keep bbw4.exe always open when using the vst plugin hopefully. Drag bbw4 into UCA Pass it will create a shortcut on the Desktop that you run after starting the Standalone and before using the vst Plugin. https://www.softpedia.com/get/System/System-Miscellaneous/UAC-Pass.shtml

so in a nutshell.......... its normal for the user account control panel to appear for every action i use in the bb vst. if this is the case ill put up with it rather than do all that nerdy computer stuff,even though you have gave a very detailed description of what to do... my intelligence just about lets me click buttons haha.

Also, no it is not normal it does not do that on my system in any of three DAWs reaper, studio one, and Cakewalk

In User Accounts is your account set as an Administrator or Standard User ?
i think its administrator, since seeing the forums in pg music and seeing the question "are you running as admin" so many times i run anything and everything possible as admin.

i did all that stuff and got to the point of "test" bb opened without the user account panel showing but i got the message about "MaxPluginsToScan" and then the exception error thing. ive had a problem with this before so i just cancelled out of the set up. ive contacted pg support now so ill see if they can advise me. once again thanks for your time.
an update is that fl studio works ok and i dont get the user account thing everytime.
bandlabs gone to pot so i dont bother with that but the 2 programs i like to use mixcraft and traktion still have the problem.

bbw4.exe runs silently in the background so you won't see it, it needs the plugin running to talk to it. It is the plugin that starts bbw4.exe.
