Hello GrammySeeker,

We're still trying to duplicate this problem (AAE Error 6) If you're still following this thread, please let us know what version (of Pro Tools) you're running.

There is a long thread on a Pro Tools forum about AAE Error 6... it goes on for multiple years. Have you seen it?
http://duc.avid.com/showthread.php?t=367071

It seems that the error can come from a variety of problems. Some people suggested running pro tools as admin, others suggested deleting unused project files, some suggested re installing pro tools all together..

Admittedly there doesn't seem to be a conclusive fix, but there are a number of suggestions that worked for various Pro Tools users. I'm not saying that it has nothing to do with the Band-in-a-Box plugin, there may be a connection, but we've tried several different versions and systems at this point and haven't encountered the error.

Perhaps you could try simply running Pro Tools as an administrator cool (by right-clicking and selecting Run As Admin) and see if the error still happens. I saw some indication it could be a permissions related problem.

(BTW we've renamed the Plugin forum now)
