Hello berntd,

Welcome to the forum and to Band-in-a-Box. Your last post indicates the SGU likely has become corrupt. Are you on a Windows or Mac computer? If you are on a Windows computer then your purchase also includes RealBand. You may be able to use RealBand to salvage the corrupt file.

Open RealBand.
Press "F3" or go to "File" > "Open ..."
Navigate to the corrupt SGU file and select it.
RealBand will take a few moments to open the file and then will create whatever MIDI tracks, RealTracks and loops that the file contains. Progress messages will flash across the top of the screen until all tracks are built.
Once all tracks are built, save the project under a new name. Older RealBand programs default to the SGU file type but RealBand 2019 defaults to the SEQ file type so you may have to change the file type.

Try the new file in Band-in-a-Box. Sometimes this works, sometimes it don't but it takes only a few minutes to try.
