Hi richay,

What you describe as the "band picking up" is, I suspect, due to part markers. These are the blue and green boxes around the bar numbers.

To get these, click on the bar number. First it will turn blue -- this is the simpler backing. With a second click it will turn green -- this a the more energetic backing. A third click will return it to it's 'off' status. (The song will need regenerating every time the part markers change so that the new status is created in the arrangement.)

Note: on the image below the key is set to C -- in the file, I have set this to A (which is what your chords need).

Also, if your BIAB desktop view is different from mine, press CTRL+T to change to the standard view rather than full-screen view.
