Please keep in mind, my above thoughts were simply my opinion. When it comes to music, there's really no such thing as right or wrong, it's all a matter of personal taste.

Again, these are just my thoughts, but I don't think the lyric necessarily calls for violence at all times. I think there's some places in there where you can use the "friendly pussycat" approach quite productively By way of analogy, when I was just typing the previous sentence, I had the image of the ocean in my mind. It started off calm and restful. Then the winds came and blew, waves started tossing, a full-on storm developed; time seemed to stop for a second and the ocean settled to begin all over again. This is how I pictured the three distinct sections (verse, prechorus, chorus/refrain?) of the arrangement. After the storm, it became calm again (new verse).

The above is just idle thinking. I think you've done an excellent job to get the song where it is. Please don't give undue weight to what is simply my personal opinion. The ideas are just my thoughts. As I said in the above post, this opus is incredible.
