Try it! I often tinker with 5/4 or 7/4 time sigs just to see what styles do with it. RB handles these much different than BiaB. It will try to make the style work in the new time sig. http://masteringmatters.com/stuff/Count_Me_Out.mp3Drums, electric piano, funk guitar (left) and bass are all RTs .. horns and guitar were recorded other means. The fun is in the experimenting. Styles by no means limit time sig .. sure they were intended for the original but you'd be surprised.
