Here's what I have in my "BIAB Tips and Tricks" file on copying bar based lyrics:
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Highlight the bars in the chord grid for where the "source" lyrics are located
- Right click INSIDE the lyrics layer of any selected bar (don't highlight the lyrics layer)
- Choose "Copy selected bars" from the dropdown
- Left click the chord grid area for the start of the "destination" for the lyrics
NOTE: make sure there are NO existing lyrics for that bar
- Now (don't highlight the lyrics layer) right click INSIDE the lyrics layer where the lyrics are to start and select "Paste"
