This is my first complicated (relatively) song in Biab. The only repeat is a dal segno al coda, and it all works nicely except for one section. On the repeat, in one section, the chords played are not the song's chords during the repeat and it makes no sense to me. I can imagine the style might vary, but not the underlying chords. I tried with a different style, and it's the same.
It's the lead sheet for I Remember Clifford from the Real Book Volume 1 6th edition if you want to know.
--- Everything works as expected at first:
1st 8 bars
Sections A, B, C - dal segno al coda (segno is at A)
Section A, B
--- The problem occurs here:
Section C plays different chords. I don't mean just the bass notes being different. The actual chords are not the same and don't match the melody (not 100% off but messed up enough to notice).
--- The rest is ok
To Coda
Coda is 2 bars and section D and plays the correct bars.

try unfolding the song so it does not use repeats etc. once the track is one long sequence you should see where the problem is.

That did it! I forgot that the repeats are actual copies of the included bars. At some point, three bars ended up with a different, incorrect chord sequence. I just pasted the correct chords in place.
I'm glad I found this forum. I looked on Reddit first, but the subreddit is dead. Do you know if there as discord?

In addition to the Resolved good suggestion, this would be the first place to try if you have questions about BIAB. I have no knowledge of Reddit's effectiveness at answering, but here we are your fellow users of the same software. Also, PG Music staffers do pop in on occasion. And if we cannot figure out the answer, the next place you should go is to PG Music Support (although sometimes we even do that for you). There is a Tab for that at the top of any forum page here, and they are very responsive.

Will do. I've played extensively with MuseScore and CakeWalk over the last few years, and had a lot of fun. With Band in a Box in my toolkit, I've just opened an entirely new world of possibilities. I'm learning sax, so I'm going to create a lot of backing tracks and possibly some original content with it.
