How do I create a tacit, and/or pickup bars?
BTW: Which videos cover basic musical elements the best?

About tacet, there are a few ways. One is to add a single period after the chord name. See Help, Rests Shots and Holds.

About tacet, there are a few ways. One is to add a single period after the chord name. See Help, Rests Shots and Holds. To add, this video goes over the Pushes, Shots, and Holds in the Chord Options dialog. https://youtu.be/yOza7eaxI3U
