Incase anyone has this problem again:

There is a very specific error message that comes up when you need to delete your tickets like Gary mentioned above. When you go to Help | Activate and do an online activate, if you get an error message that includes the following in the error message "... program cannot be activated. Reason is: you can only use this program on one computer", that's a know activation loop bug that requires the deletion of the ticket files. This is why we will often ask people for the full, exact wording of the error message because a sentence here or a sentence there difference and it can be a totally different issue.

If this happens, you can follow the instructions below:

1. Close Band-in-a-Box.
2. Install the latest update for your version from here: https://www.pgmusic.com/support.htm
3. Delete ALL the .ticket and .bin files from: C:\Users\Public\Ticket. ONLY files with .ticket or .bin as the file extension.
4. Run Band-in-a-Box and (re) activate.

** If you are prompted with a message asking whether you would like to restore the license, say 'no'. Once open, go to Help | Activate Band-in-a-Box and re-enter your serial number if needed.
