Not that, no. I'd like to be able to generated a MIDI bass track, then transpose it up to the range used by RUB, where I'd freeze it before adding the articulations, which are all handled in the lower octaves. RUB offers a lot of controls.

The alternative, of course, is to record the MIDI myself and not use BiaB's built-in generation at all, and/or do the whole job in a DAW.


This whole area is new to me, because I've mostly used BiaB as an accompaniment tool for practice, but I'm now thinking that I'd like to build songs properly with it, so I've begun collecting instruments I like and am learning how best to control them. I think probably all of the better sounding instruments have articulations on keys outside of their normal playing range, to deal with the things that just can't be done or are very hard to do on a keyboard.
