Trying to create framework in BIAB and then move it to Reaper for finishing touches. I found two thing that I hope someone can help with:

1. If a generate a song with a style change in the daw and then drag it to reaper, I find that the instruments come over, but only one the initial style comes over. Can anyone tell me if there is a setting to bring it over with the style change intact, or what are best practices concerning this.

2. I also find that anything in non-conventional tracks doesn't come over because the intruments dont seem to populate. I have especially noticed this with the utility tracks. I have to add the instruments in while in the daw, making any pre-edits useless.

I asked BIAB Tech support the last question, but haven't heard anything.
Any help would be more than appreciated.

Do you mean when you open the Biab project in the BBPlugin VST it's not coming over ?

Where you have Style 1 in Biab copy those chords to an instance of the BBPlugin with Style 1, uncheck the ending.
Now copy the chords to another instance of the BBPlugin with it set to Style 2, uncheck the count-in, click the arrow on the sync button and set it to start on the style change bar.
If you are actually dragging from Biab it should render the whole song with style changes.

It's coming over, but style changes and utility tracks don't seem to carry over. I am hoping this is a setting that I am missing

I was dragging it to Reaper, but the style changes and utility tracks didn't come over. When I pulled up the song in the plugin, the utility track was empty even though the save BIAB song had it saved

I think it's a bug in the current version.
I did ask for a sync vst to sync the main Biab app with you DAW so to give all the million function of Biab rather than trying to get them all in the BBPlugin:

Currently, Utility tracks are not transferring to the plugin.

We will have to wait until they get this and other things like drum stems fixed in the plugin.

The Band-in-a-Box® Flash Drive Backup Option

Today (April 5) is National Flash Drive Day!

Did you know... not only can you download your Band-in-a-Box® Pro, MegaPAK, or PlusPAK purchase - you can also choose to add a flash drive backup copy with the installation files for only $15? It even comes with a Band-in-a-Box® keychain!

For the larger Band-in-a-Box® packages (UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, Audiophile Edition), the hard drive backup copy is available for only $25. This will include a preinstalled and ready to use program, along with your installation files.

Backup copies are offered during the checkout process on our website.

Already purchased your e-delivery version, and now you wish you had a backup copy? It's not too late! If your purchase was for the current version of Band-in-a-Box®, you can still reach out to our team directly to place your backup copy order!

Note: the Band-in-a-Box® keychain is only included with flash drive backup copies, and cannot be purchased separately.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
