Ross and the crew at Jazz fm have been doing a great job.
Still miss Ross, he did the 10 pm to 12 pm. jazz show on CBC weeknights, and I set to clock to go off at midnight (turn off that is). His voice, the tunes, drift away and back, almost was too bad to go to sleep....
Must have been a major blow to him when Jeff died, I only met Jeff 3 times but what a guy. (Oh Jeff Healy), he hosted a jazz show there too.
You look at an artist and never think to check the background. Jeff Healy and jazz who'd think of that...but Gordon Lightfoot did jazz studies in California...no wonder he returned to Kanuckistan...

Band-in-a-Box 2026 Video: AI Stems & Notes - split polyphonic audio into instruments and transcribe
This video demonstrates how to use the new AI-Notes feature together with the AI-Stems splitter, allowing you to select an audio file and have it separated into individual stems while transcribing each one to its own MIDI track. AI-Notes converts polyphonic audio—either full mixes or individual instruments—into MIDI that you can view in notation or play back instantly.
