A few years ago, I was asked to help with a song in the style of Walyon Jenning's I don't think Hank done it this way.... a typical Waylon 4 on the floor style groove. It was difficult to find something that worked and ultimately, we chose to go in a different direction on that song. It seemed that everyone, at least around these parts of NC at the time, was writing and playing in that groove.
