I may be wrong but I believe BiaB is locked into some very old code so I doubt we will ever see these time signature changes. I suspect that is a reasonably accurate statement... That was also essentially the basis of my statement, though it may be a compatibility problem with older songfiles rather than software per se. I've occasionally suggested ways around issues like that may be forward-and-back conversion tools, or possibly an 'upgrade amnesty' to get people to a current release if the change is otherwise catastrophic for older songfiles. Whatever, the fact that it hasn't been done over many years suggests to me a significant technical issue rather than a lack of interest.
Jazz relative beginner, starting at a much older age than was helpful.
