Eddie:

We're in San Tan Valley in Arizona.
The entire "band" is about a dozen musicians/singers but we're not all on stage at once.
We work up "sets" and those involved in one, may not be in another.
We're hoping to do away with the floor wedges.
We don't get serious enough about it for people to spend a lot of money,
especially on custom IEMs, and the fact we haven't really perfected a process for them.

The mixing board we're using is a Behringer X32, with enough "outs" so everyone
can get a custom "monitor mix". It's easy enough for us to get a "hard wired" signal
to the IEMs, or, we've had some luck in using just a simple "wireless GUITAR",
receiver and transmitter duo to get a signal from the board to a (say) Behringer belt pack,
then a decent (but not expensive) set of earphones.

We keep experimenting and I'm fairly certain we'll end up with something more usable than last time.
I'll keep you posted.
