Interesting manipulation, but I don't see the point. You might as well transfer directly to the Daw. Even if it means generating the wav, why put it in the plugin, I don't understand. In fact it makes using the plugin almost like a Daw, with zero advantages, except the loss of time?

I said the same thing, because this is what the Plugin does, it uses bbw4 in the background but some users want this bridged way, so to get what they want they can just do the above and still be using a bridged way rather than the Plugin generating up the track data within it's self and not BBW4 rendering wav's. It's working the same way but they have more control of Biab and what they get than BBW4. You can't Alt+F8 a track in the Plugin how it works now using a bridge with BBW4. Using track data in the Plugin you could do that the same way Biab now does it non destructively without creating wav's.
That's why the Plugin is too slow for most users so they just Generate up in Biab and drop in their DAW. But for those users that are not worried about the generate speed of the Plugin and use it but want what they have in Biab the same in the Plugin, this is what they can do.
Generate time does not seem to be an issue to them.

I suggested the bridged mode back in 2016 so if it took that long to get here now and they want to keep that slow way I suppose it could be another 7 years until they want instant play ?
I had a look at EZDrummer 3 to see if it was using the old EZDrummer 1 as a bridge in the background but couldn't see it. Same with Superior 3 nothing running in the background that it waits on.
