Band-in-a-Box VST and Pro Tools/AAX DAW Plugin (Windows)

I have a problem when using BIAB VST on Mac (Logic pro). If I use the band in a box stand alone program, I can type D/F# and it works fine. If I use the VST version, the chord locks the whole prom for anything that precedes it.
For Example:
D, GM, D/F#, Em
D, GM, D/F#, Em
On the chords above the VST version plays the D and Gm and thenplays "D" chord and stays on D for the rest of the song...
There were some discussions online pertaining to a spanish keyboard that is not relevant to my problem. And Help - mucho appreciated
