This feels closer to the intention you had in the write; I like the vocals( (as the effect obscures lyric clarity a little, I agree with others that they could come up in the mix).
Dark and slightly ominous- suits the subject!

I'm really glad to hear you used my suggestion, okay, it is not Mr. Hawking, but the effect is the same, distancing and otherworldly, as I imagined. Excellent work! And the bass is now in tune. I'm really interested in hearing what area of science you are exploring next  Janne Hey Janne, yep, I used your suggestions, you always have good advice for improvement. I think I was playing B major arpeggios on the bass when I should have been playing B minor, totally sloppy on my part. You have excellent listening skills, keep the constructive criticism coming, that's how we all improve

Man, it's so cool listening to your progress, Steve. "Max Headroom without the stutter!!! HA! Excellent lyrics with a lot of info. I remember driving my 95 year-old friend back from Florida when he said, "Pull over a minute; let me drive." Thinking that it was a complaint about my excessive speed I said, "No, Ray. I'm good." He said, "No I want you to read this article on Black Holes so we can talk about it." HA! He took the wheel and drove faster than I did.

Thanks for posting this. I remember Max Headroom! But this song immediately reminded me of Neil Young's "Trans" album, an album I really like. Hey Killer, I like Neil Young (at least the hits that made it to FM radio) but I never heard of his Trans album. Thanks for the listen.

Well that was certainly different ... but in an entertaining manner. We're also of the notion of bringing up the vocals - perhaps a couple of db's. Because they are spoken they are easier to lose in the mix than a melodic vocal or so I would guess Your experiments are always engaging! J&B Thanks J&B, I agree. If I do bot vocals again I'll try to pay more attention to its volume level.

Hey chula, you are a HOOT! Mission Control? Ha, that's funny! It did take some time to mix this, I started with the simplest motif, and then added layer 2, then 3 . . . and finally played my bass to the whole thing. Then in this version, the last step was to include the bot vocals. And it was fun to watch the thing develop. This process reminds me of an "emergent" property. Similar to individual brain neurons can't do very much, but connect hundreds of millions of these dumb neurons and you have a powerful decision making object.
