I met Cindy Cashdollar when I lived in San Antonio, TX for a number of years back in the '70s. She's a nice lady and can play the heck out of a lap steel or a stand-up with no pedals. And she can shred an electric guitar with the best of them! I've never seen nor heard her play a pedal steel. I've never met Lucky Oceans, but I've heard him on many of the Asleep At The Wheel albums or saw him on Austin City Limits several when he played with Ray Benson in the early '70s.

You're probably right about the style being more Bob Wills.
