The Minimal View Custom Menu Bar tab allows users to populate the bar with a large selection of tools. I have two suggestions to enhance the use of the Custom Menu Bar:
(1) Add a reset button. The Custom Menu Bar is blank until the user populates it with the icons they choose. Sometimes it might be easier to click one button and start over by removing all icons from the menu bar than to move each of them one-at-a-time.
(2) Save the Custom Menu Bar selections in saved user Preferences. That way if the user has to return to factory settings the Custom Menu Bar selections will return when the user loads their user Preferences.
