The only difference in the rhythm section mix to "Zuzu" is that I've swapped channels on 2 of the 6 rhythm guitars; but replacing the tin whistle, tenor saxophone and dizi flute solos with harmonica, organ and guitar solos respectively makes this version a very different sounding instrumental.

Re the video, I've reused some of the images in the "Zuzu", but there are also some new never previously used ones.

1st & 2nd rhythm guitars: Jovian Divine Alt Rock Soloing ~ Mike Durham
Organ: Country Rock Guitar Solo, Pop Ba ~ Gene Rabbai
Enya & Sirius Warm Pads & Strings hybrid mix
Drums: Nashville Radio Power Bal Solo ~ Miles McPherson
Bass Guitar: Bricks Indie Rock w Guitar Solo ~ Tobin Frank
Harmonica solo: Wounded Ev Fiery Harmonica Blues ~ L. D. Miller
Organ solo: King Fast Blues Rock Organ ~ Charles Treadway
3rd rhythm guitar: Country Rock Guitar Solo, Pop Ba ~ Darin Favorite
4th rhythm guitar: Centaur Gtr Solo Hard Rock Bal ~ Darin Favorite
5th & 6th rhythm guitars: Nashville Radio Power Bal Solo ~ Danny Rader
Guitar solo: Outback Country Ballad Soloist ~ Johnny Hiland

Chay,

Love the groove on this. Some really great organ sounds and an excellent mix.

Chay, fun song! Definitely the same song, but not the same sound, as you say. You always do a great job finding leads that fit the tone of the piece while contrasting with the backing instruments enough to keep it interesting. Very nice!

Hi Chay,

I hesitate a little, haven't I heard this song before?
I think so, because I recognized the excited harmonica and the video.
On the other had, you wrote here you changed some things. Like that solo guitar?
It sounds wonderful!
But I have a littlebit a deja vu
But enjoyed this song and video, like I did with the previous version as well.

Man, one of the guys I play with over the last 30 years is an outstanding harmoninca player. He can play chromatic notes on a diatonic harp. Sheesh. Anyway, he would dig that crazy solo. Very cool strolling feel in this tune. Man, you are quite good at creating those images too, and they go so well with the music. I like how you bring in the players as if it's alife performance. Terrific package, Chay.

Enjoy whatever happens!

Smokin' harmonica.
Cool organ.
The drums could be a bit louder...

Thankks Ron. I'm finding it harder and harder to get good solos, in part because a sample used in one song has phrases which repeat in new ones which I try to avoid, but it's sometimes impossible to not repeat if I'm to use the same Real Track and more often than not there's no good enough alternative. So more and more I'm finding I have to regenerate a sample and create a hybrid out of 2 or more regenerations. In an instrumental I've recently finished there are again 3 solos, but I just couldn't get a single sample which did the job, so the 1st and 3rd are made up of 2 edited samples, while I had to use 3 regenerations to create the middle solo.

You were supposed to get deja vu, Hans. smile In "Zuzu" and "Zuzu Two Too" it's essentailly the same rhythm section, but in the former the solos are tin whistle, tenor sax and dizi + tin whistle; then in this version the solos are just changed to harmonic, B3 organ and guitar. Though this is I think the 3rd time I've used L.D. Miller harmonica as a solo instrument.

Thanks, Marty. When I listen to a one hour playlist of my instrumentals I imagine a band playing live, though being an adorer of the divine feminine it's always an all female band, usually composed of characters from my books and those I use in my graphic images! laugh My only problem now I'm 73 is that if I listen in the evenings, particularly after eating, I fall asleep, which I loatrhe as I'm peeved I missed half the imaginary concert, on top of which I feel totally zomboid once I wake up! laugh

Hi, Chay.

Different day, different instrumentalists. wink

But still a pleasant listen.

I agree with floyd about the drums.

Nice tune, I enjoyed it!

I like how the harmonica solo leads into the organ solo, that leads into that tasty guitar solo!

Man, that harp alone is worth the price of admission!

Another super cool BiaB production and an excellent supporting video.

The mix is outstanding and congrats on working all those tracks in w/o getting things dense.
Great dynamics too.

Well done!
