Hi, anyone know if it is possible to use a midi foot controller to change the instruments on a plug in? I have a Fishman Triple Play pick up on my guitar and play along via the thru channel to songs. What I am trying to achieve is being able to change the instrument selection for the Thru channel as I am playing. Thanks for any help.

I understand that this pickup delivers MIDI, and you wish to change the selected MIDI instrument via a foot controller. I'm not aware that such functionality exists in either BIAB or the BIAB Plug-in from a foot controller, but certainly a MIDI controller can be used to change instruments in BIAB. Can you provide some more detail on the foot controller?

When inquiring about MIDI controllers, ChatPG came up with this answer:
To use a MIDI controller to change instruments in Band-in-a-Box, you can follow these steps:
1: Connect your MIDI controller to your computer.
2: Open Band-in-a-Box.
3: Access the RealTracks Settings dialog. You can do this by clicking on the [+] button next to the RealTracks radio button and selecting "Select RealTracks."
4: In the RealTracks Settings dialog, you can use your MIDI controller to change instruments by assigning different MIDI channels to each instrument track.
I certainly have never used this, so I can't elaborate any further. (I'm also not sure about how to use Steps 3 & 4).
