One way to edit the Realdrums as audio is to...
1) Generate the song.
2) Copy the Drum track to the Audio track (I haven't tried it but this approach also probably works by copying it to a Utility track).
3) To do the copying, use "Edit | Copy Special | Copy/Move Tracks".
Once the Realdrums audio is on the audio track, you can use Audio edit to change it anyway you want. It's not possible to use partial regeneration, though. The writing on the Audio track will also turn orange to indicate that an audio file is present.
