That is one of the bits of magic that is BiaB.
The backing and the soloists come in and out like real musicians.

It's worth reflecting on this and on the refrain of "want AI". BiaB may not use regenerative AI, but what it does with tracks like this is certainly intelligent and kind-of artificial, but it's done the 'old' way, with dedicated algorithms built on the understanding of the music and of MIDI and/or RealTracks.

There are things about this software that drive me to distraction, but there are things likr the above that remind me how really very clever it can be.
