I found that holding shift opens the past stylepicker and realtrack windows. But it's a pity that these are not floating windows.

In order to prevent the list from being lost. One thing I'm thinking about is whether to allow users to open multiple multipicker libraries. I can stay on the page I need respectively. Such as stylepicker, realtrack, I can even drag and drop to different monitors. Because the multipicker libraries are floating windows, I can also modify the chord progression to play.

So, I want to know, is there a shortcut key that allows me to open multiple multipicker libraries.

Of course, it would also be possible if the stylepicker in the past could be turned into a floating window. But I know you won't do it. So, I think allowing multiple multipicker libraries to be opened is a good idea. What do you think?

The purpose is not to lose the list you are looking at. Because I am switching between multipicker libraries, I will lose the list I just looked at. I don't understand why no one else has mentioned this?

The idea might gain more traction by posting it in the wishlist forum section. I think it would be an interesting idea to explore.

One benefit to having multiple mutipickers open might be to be able to have one window with the Styles tab in focus and another window with a RealTracks, UserTracks, Loops, MIDI SuperTracks, Melodist or Soloist tab in focus without loosing the initial listing.

However, if two windows are better then maybe three or four is even better. Then we get into the where do we stop.

In the "Style", "RealTrack", "midisuper..." etc. above the Mutipickers library, just hold down shift and click on them, and the Mutipickers library will form a new window, which can be dragged and dropped to other computer screens. This is the most convenient way. Each window can be refreshed automatically, and there should also be a manual refresh button.

As well as opening up the Multi-Picker form, you are just opening up the original picker forms as well.

When you state: "and there should also be a manual refresh button.", I presume you are wishing for some feature. If so, there's a separate thread to do that from.

The refresh button is an old topic. And the BIAB team also designed a refresh button. But now the refresh button has been removed. This completely confuses me. Therefore, I don’t want to mention it again. Waste of time. grin

I explain how to do this using the Favorites and Recently Played List Window in the attached link below.

These lists can be directly accessed from the Chord Sheet once a list is created. Custom lists for recently played and favorites can be created and saved for every different search or every project.

After Selecting Preferences > Allow Multiple Instances, you have to start another completely separate BIAB program. The two copies of the program don't know about each other though. They are separate instances.

Maybe they can make it like a browser, drag the Tab to new Window or right click "Open Tab in New Window" as you close the Window it will go back to being a Tab.

You are right. But I don't know if this will be consistent.
For example, if you do something in realtrack, the stylepicker will reflect it synchronously.

I agree, it's not very friendly. Better design improvements are definitely needed.

Bad design will make you angry and make you angry.
An angry mood cannot produce good music
