This is just personal taste (mostly I just skip posts I'm not keen on taste-wise) : I think both the chord structure and vocal melody of this song have great potential, but I wasn't keen on this production, mainly because I didn't like the oo-aahs, particularly at the beginning, as they reminded me of the kind used in early 50s US Western TV series such as "The Legend of Jim Bowie". IE: I feel it's a very dated sound, whereas the song's theme deserved something brighter and celebratory. Restructured I think it could be excellent.
