Get Unbored With Me on Soundcloud Get Unbored With Me on YouTube Ah, just a plea to have fun, and a reminder that boredom is just another transition that is best cured with others. Cool song and timeless sentiment! Especially like what you're doing with your vocals of late--you're really nailing a feel that fits your lyrics and backing tracks perfectly. Super lead by Dave, as always. Nice backing track and sweet mix. The complete package!

Marty and Dave, I could never get bored with your playing. Another outstanding song sung, played and mixed like pros, and you two are pros for sure. PS - Marty I looked up Parker-51 and wondered how you could do a three octave slide on a pen! But a Parker P51 bass explained it perfectly

Another gem from two of the best on the forum!
Great soundstage for the wonderful vocals and that smoking lead guitar.
You guys never disappoint- never!

Bob Thanks, Bob. 5 years ago, I saw the name Blue Attitude, then heard the music, and I was hooked. So glad when I can hook him in for one of these. Great hook that captures the attention before the first note is even played!
Marty, this is your genre, man! Dave, great job on the guitar. You two really collaborate so well.

Dewey Thanks so much, Dewey dude. And cheers to you for the productions you make. Marty and Dave...another pristine mix for another clever well written lyric performed by a couple of amazing musicians...from the subtle organ playing that great pad underneath Dave's perfect toned guitar to the smooth bass line to the graphics in your videos...you guys always put forth some great tunes and that rock solid blues/rock feel...what a team!! consider me unbored for the ride! Ha, thanks, Dan. Judging from your music, I'd say you're never bored. Four new vocal groups!?! Cool song and timeless sentiment! Especially like what you're doing with your vocals of late--you're really nailing a feel that fits your lyrics and backing tracks perfectly. Super lead by Dave, as always. Nice backing track and sweet mix. The complete package! Thanks, Ron. Yeah, the package ain't complete without a little blue attitude. I was never a singer cuz I couldn't play bass at the same time, and there was always others in the group who thought they were good. When making demos for others I just sang "something close." After being on this forum for a while, you all make me wanna do it right, so I practice and paractice before pushing record. Thanks for noticing the change, my friend.

"get unbored with me"..."get on-board with me" ..coincidence? I don't think so!! Typically clever, I'd say. Full of energy--the mix, the arrangement, the vocal. Really enjoyed it Marty!

Marty and Dave, I could never get bored with your playing. Another outstanding song sung, played and mixed like pros, and you two are pros for sure. PS - Marty I looked up Parker-51 and wondered how you could do a three octave slide on a pen! But a Parker P51 bass explained it perfectly Haha. Thanks, Mario. Here's the story: It's a Parker-P36 (I think) guitar, but when someone asks what model after I tell them it's a Parker, with apathy (not age in this case) I forget. So I use the name of a cool plane, the Mustang P-51, and my license plate, COACH51. Another gem from two of the best on the forum!

Marty, Hell yeah. The warm embrace of blues and bloke who can sing them. Cool band with your bass & Dave's guitar making signature contributions. The Parker 51 wrote it's own part. Excellent narrative, clever wordsmith & excellent penmanship.

Yeah, the invitation is to defeat bored, and the best way to do that is get onboard with the plan. And we all know what the plan is. Thanks, Tom. Chances are she fell asleep before I could complete my plea. Marty, Hell yeah. The warm embrace of blues and bloke who can sing them. Cool band with your bass & Dave's guitar making signature contributions. The Parker 51 wrote it's own part. Excellent narrative, clever wordsmith & excellent penmanship. Thanks, Ray. Ya know, just the fact that i see you've commented makes me smile in anticipation of your unique way you tell them. Heck, just for fun and education i'll search for your comments on others too. No one has EVER said I have excellent penmanship. HA! I even type sloppy. Brilliant song and Dave guitar. I love that rhythm section organ. Thanks, Chay. Yeah, that organ is rather important. Most folks wouldn't even be sure there was an organ in there when it's over, but man, take it out and you'd notice the gapping hole it leaves.

Inventive title and an interesting puzzle built around it. Positive blues, I don't know how you manage to do it again, but this song delivers euphoria with minor chords Sweet and smooth melody combined with Dave's amazing virtuosity creates a masterpiece that completely unbores me. Great vocals with nice little nuances and the rich bass playing satisfies every soul. Yep, one of the best songs on your new album Now I can go to bed and sleep without worries Janne

Vic Thanks, Vic. It's fun listening to Dave roll his talent through a song. I always like Am Blues progressions. This works on all levels. Great leads. lyrics, and production. Thanks, Elliott. Dave works on all keys, too. Don't think I ever met a guitarist who thinks Gb is no problem. Marty,

Yeah, minor chords are often associated with sadness, mystery, or fear I guess, but Blues always allows for a good dose of euphoria. What DCRon said sums it up well We'll add our love of your mischievous vocal and its rich timbre.
Dave's scorching guitar is standout as is your low end and the BiaB session guys (nice organ).
Great write and what a wonderful line: “Satisfy you soul and bring it out to play”
The mix sets up an impressive soundstage on the Kalis. And as always your video is very supportive of the lyric and the vibe.
FUN!!!

J&B Thanks, J&B. You guys obviously know how to fill in any boring transition. Not sure of the Kalis reference though. Ya mean double-edged meaning, like a double entendre. If so, cool way to say it. Nice job on some blues.

I can't remember the last time I was bored, so your song is not for me. But I'm always there when there's a good blues, and this really is one. You and Dave are always a safe bet, I love everything you do. Great work from you both. Now I'm off to watch the lawn grow. Or watch the paint dry

Ezekiel Scott, whoa watch out with the SIr Paul reference. I think I've played every bassline he did, but, man, the stuff he adds to a song is unmatchable. Man, I'm with ya on the never bored. Happy for ya, Scott. James, thanks. Yeah Dave is the real deal for sure, and I like your Latin plural for "solo" (hehe); he NAILS every solo he does. Scott C, thanks for all of your support. Hey, and thanks for noticing the bass. Yeah, Dave reminds me of the Balushi riff in I Don't Know: "I gave up cigarettes, but I didin't give up smokin'." Thanks, Brain. Dave is always a safe bet, but the odds of liking what he plays are 1 to 1, so the real payoff is in the listening. Thanks for that, too.

That solo Dave played is one of his best and that's saying a lot! Enjoyed the subtle little nuances of the vocal delivery Marty! Love you guys! TB

How did I miss this one? Glad it got bumped. First off, there needs to be an online museum called The Song Titles of Marty Straub. Really clever stuff. Second, your vox and Dave's guitar were fire (as the kids say). Third, I agree about bluesy stuff suiting you, I think you should do more along those lines. Maybe a slow Stormy Monday-styled tune. BIAB has some great RTs for that. Great work, Marty!

Nice to hear your voice again, Marty. I've not been on the forum in several weeks. There's a movie with Tom Hanks...the Wonders, I think. The band leader writes a ballad and the band keeps playing it upbeat and he keeps saying, "it's a ballad!" I kind of wonder what this one would sound like with more energy.
