Seashore's Seashells

You are on an ocean's beach. You pick up a seashell to listen to the ocean's waves. You pick up another seashell to hear it in stereo but instead you hear some strange music. You become mesmerized and can't put the seashells down. Suddenly a ghost ship appears on the horizon. The music gets more intense then just as sudden as the ship appears it disappears. Now all you hear are the ocean's waves.

BiaB Style = Oceans - Very Slow New Age
Tempo - 40 PBM

Bass - Kontakt Amadeus - basses
Piano - Kontakt Amadeus - Harp
Guitar - Kontakt Amadeus - String Ensemble
Strings - Kontakt - Solid State Strings

I am playing via my guitar MIDI controller the leads:
1-Kontakt - Veevum - Human - Arp - Slow Happenings 2
2-Kontakt - Veevum - GuitarScapes - Stack - Lone Ranger

As always all comments are welcomed

MIDI guitar is something I've never tried, or know anything about for that matter. Amazing the sounds you can create!

Very cool indeed, Mario!

Sounded great, ASMR to the max! 40 bpm, wow, the lowest I 've ever done is 55, that was for Stormy Monday. Hard for me to keep the groove that slow. Wish I coulo do MIDI like you do, but all I ever end up with is an aural mess. Great job again.

Very nice, Mario! Superb composition, and sweetly arranged. Great choice of BiaB instruments and spot on playing of your virtual instruments. This reminds me of whale songs, only better. Very soothing.

Of course when I started your track I thought the wave sounds were white noise from a soundcard meltdown, so I went straight into panic mode. That was (temporarily) not very soothing at all. Ha!

I love the narrative, Mario. Seems essential to the piece. You've created some really great images and sounds here.

Thanx Dave. Playing a MIDI guitar controller take a different playing technique but if I can do I'm positive you can do it also.

Thanx so much. If I can do MIDI I know that with a little time on the learning curve you could also do it.

Thanx so much Beth. I try to make the narrative reflect the song. Sometimes I do and sometimes I don't.

Your description absolutely nailed the songs arrangement and vibe.
We could follow the imagery all through, stayed engaged and were amazed given the bpm.

As always your performances and the mix are very high bar.

Cinematic ... tv series or film ready.

Mario.. I've complimented you before on your adventuresome approach to the PG tool kit.. there are so many applications of music, and I'm always happy to see creative forms other than "song". This is like a tone poem, or like a pastel landscape, and I see it as a true "artist" sense of where you can take these tools... loved it.. and a great cover art picture!!

Thanx so much Tom for this fantastic review. I have always said that with BiaB and a little imagination one can play any genre of music. Using MIDI can be a big asset in that goal.
