Does it do the same if you switch the 50” to one of the USB-C ports and one of the 27” to the HDMI?

The Mac Studio lives in a dedicated machine room. I have a noisy Avid HDX-2 rig plus a few AD/DA's and a couple of reverb mainframes with fans in there, so the cableruns for the displays are quite long. The 27 inches has no trouble with HDMI over USB at those lengths, but I wasn't able the get the 50" to work reliable with HDMI over USB. I ended up using an active HDMI cable from the Mac Studio's build in HDMI port in order for it to work reliable in all resolutions. I'll give it another try, it would be interesting to see if that changed anything.

But again, this is not a problem with any other software. The only exception I have seen is the Altiverb 8 installer window which also for some reason appears on the TV. :-) I can't help but think this might be an issue with the BIAB software build.

I know this is a minor problem, but when a session moves fast it is a bit annoying to constantly have to drag dialog windows from a display suspended from the ceiling, a place usually reserved for displaying video when composing.
