This was a really interesting listen Mario, and not what I was expecting. You’ve got a great composition here, it reminds me of a theme they’d use for animated story feature that has no dialogue. Everything works really well together. I don’t think you’ve left any instrument in your musical bag on this one. Excellent arrangement Mario, keep them coming.

Kind regards

Thanx so much Bob for listening and these wonderful comments. I'm glad you liked it and I appreciate your comments.

Thanx so much Lee. I am hoping to do more like this from time to time. I am a novice when it comes to producing songs like this. I appreciate your very kind comments.

Good God, Mario. Your comfort zone sounds great out this far. Even the feel of the music sounds like it surrounds a giant pool of creativty. Right from the opening I feel in love with this one. And like the love of my wife, it just kept getting better. You are so good at breathing (literally) such contagious life into this. Man, this is an outstanding piece of musical writing. Everything brilliantly touching others in the mix, and falling on the ears with the perfect thrill of timing.

Enjoy whatever happens!

Marty, thanx so much for this fantastic review. This was my first attempt at composing a semi-classical piece of music and I am touched that you really liked it.

I think when you are playing those Swam instruments you can do no wrong. Great stuff!

Thanx so much Bob. But don't bet on the fact that when "playing those Swam instruments you can do no wrong"! You don't hear the outtakes wink

I felt very comfortable listening to this. I felt like I was in a concert hall. I like the change with the ensemble at 1:37+.

We don't think you stepped outa your zone.
Rather we feel your talent allows you to redefine your zones per whatever you choose to compose! . smile

The outcome of your work on both controllers is stunning.
10 tracks you played and we could've miscounted.
And then to put it all together in such a cohesive mix. Wow.

We cranked it up with our monitors and a sub and it is room filling ... literally.

A masterpiece indeed.

Thanx so much for this wonderful review Janice and Bud. The last time I had my zones analyzed the test results came back "The Twilight Zone"! I like working with those controllers. With my arthritic hands causing me problems playing the guitar even for short periods of times using the breath and keyboard controllers is my next step in playing music.

It's a challenge for me to listen to a piece this long, Mario, but in no way does that diminish the fact that it's a lovely composition.

I've probably said before that I don't know how you do what you do, and that you do it very well. That's the case here too.

Your musicianship and skills are simply beyond me.

Take a bow, maestro.

I can hear the normal MarioD zone of high quality music, like a Vivaldi with BIAB - smooth, relaxing and well-played. You know the magic of creating musical worlds that we can immerse ourselves in. Maybe the title could give hints of the theme, but on the other hand, it is your new "Number One" hit opus!

Cool song Mario. First thing I thought of was Richard Dreyfess and Mr Hollands Opus. Very pretty song.. Excellent mood changes throughout the song. Well done

A complex but well-ordered piece with plenty of color variation plus light and shade provided by a wide range of instruments. I particularly liked your "call-and-answer" motifs. They were used to great effect. I am looking forward to Opus 2.
