I don't know how I lost track of it, but I remember that there was a jingle bells-like Xmas style available. She place I can redownload it from?

There are many, but the XPro1 Pak has the style Joyeux which might work.
Have a look in your account for all of the products you have purchased. There might be something there that gives you a reminder.

Hey, Mike.
Spent a few minutes in the StylePicker but couldn't find anything in the word filter (on the upper left) related to the holiday by typing Christmas, Xmas, holidays, jingle, etc.
Spent a few more minutes in the Song Title section of the StylePicker (on the upper right) and there are LOTS of suggestions there based on the song (and version of the song) you are thinking of.
For example, "Jingle Bells" will give you the very fast 250 BPM Bing Crosby jazz version, which may or may not be what you have in mind.
As I think about it, most of MY thoughts on Christmas music styles are based on classic versions of the 40s, 50s and 60s. Stuff you hear in old movies, at the mall or at the Christmas tree lot. A lot of Bing, but a lot of Burl Ives, too. Quite a bit of jazz. Even Charlie Brown's Christmas. My favorite Christmas album is by The Roches; weird but wonderful.
So...it depends.
My suggestion is to use the Song Title filter for the song that resonates closest to what you're looking for and go from there.
Am sure you'll get better suggestions.
Ho! Ho! Ho!

Yep, the O/P needs to give us a little more direction. Was the Style fast-paced, laid-back, 3/4 or 4/4 (4/4 is the most common, but there are waltz / 6/8 versions as well).
Tell us more about what you remember the style delivered. There's no 'perfect match' in the Style Picker.

Hmmm. Not sure. It was years ago, so must have been MIDI. I'm quite sure it was 4/4. I remember it having sleighbells as quarter notes.
I tried song names in the style picker, but only found swing styles and big band crooner styles for Bing Crosby-like styles, but not xmas-specific styles.
I vaguely remember possibly having to import this style into BIAB, maybe it had been discontinued or maybe never offered by PGMusic in the first place?

Funkifized:
I believe the style you may be looking for is called
XMAS_P.STY
That's the one I have that contains the jingle bell sound. Not sure where it originated but like you, I've had it for many years. If you do a search and can't come up with it, pm me with your email address and I'll send it to you.
Good luck! LLOYD S

There's also this thread that lists Christmas songs and appropriate styles, including a few with the XMAS_P style discussed above.

I don't have XMAS_.STY on my laptop. Am I missing styles that I should have? Is that style listed at PG Music anywhere?

Does everyone else have XMAS_P.STY in BIAB? I had id it a while back, but I don't see it anymore. I'm concerned that I didn't have ask of the styles that I paid for. StylePicker shows 7,785 items. Does that sound right?

I have almost 12,000 styles in StylePicker but no XMAS_P.STY. Did a Google search and only turned up the thread I linked three up from this one. Also searched Norton's site. His Christmas RealBook collection does not indicate a XMAS_P.STY. The search continues...

Hello,
I do not recall ever having an XMAS or XMAS_P style. I dug back a bit and could not find anything. I wonder if this was a 3rd party style...?
Thank you, Catherine

Here is another thread where the OP asked this question in 2022... It seems to be a XMAS_P. style mixed in the list of "BIAB XMAS Songs" as posted in the older posting above (quite a bit down the list of songs).

To summarize, THE XMAS_P.STY USER STYLE IS AT THIS LINK POSTED BY DRDANMight be appropriate to mark this thread "Resolved" if this in fact works...

So I’m laying in my sauna. It’s 142° and I’m reading through the form and I come upon this thread and as I read it I’m thinking I know what they were looking for. We had a search for that years ago. I’m sure I have it. And then I read the last line and lo and behold that’s me I have that style. I assume I posted it where it says and that you folks all have the style now I seem to remember it was pretty good.

I have it also and it is marked as a USER style and if I try to load an associated demo song, it cannot be found. Probably a user made style I downloaded from one of the non-PGMusic websites in the past.

Copy the xmas_P.sty into C:/bb/styles. Then do a "slow rebuild" to incorporated as a 3rd party/user style. Only then will you be able to see it in BIAB style picker.

The XMAS_P.STY was done many years ago by someone with BIAB but not PGMusic. It usually surfaces about this time of year. I always have to do a search for mine as it never seems to end up in the C:\bb\STYLES folder. YMMV LLOYD S

I can see that I've been the one to inquire about it a number of years. I don't know why I keep losing the damn file. I somehow thought that it had been a User Style that had ended up in the PG Music official list. I guess I was wrong.

You would potentially lose that style if you did not do the Slow Rebuild each time. It would be more like Brigadoon than Xmas.

Thanks but it’s not so obscure. It’s a genuine speculation and I think an apt reference. If you do a Slow Rebuild, user styles and third party styles are revealed. If you then do a Fast Rebuild, do they disappear, only to reappear after the next Slow Rebuild? I really don’t know.
ps Brigadoon was one of my favorite shows to play in the pit, but it’s the periodic disappearance aspect that’s relevant here. And if I’m right, then what I’ve speculated and said for many years would be true: there should be no such thing as a Fast Rebuild.

The mystery deepens.
User Style? Now where ever did I get that?
I try to keep my test system that I use here to help others as 'vanilla' as possible.

Matt, meant that only a minority of us would recall what "Brigadoon" referred to. (For readers, Brigadoon was a musical from 1947, later turned into a film, about a Scottish village that only appeared once every 100 years.) I thought the use of the reference was very cool and VERY appropriate to the topic. Cool you played it in the pit, too. Great tunes, and a lot of them. I agree about Fast Rebuilds.

I guess I've been a little freaked out by not having the Styles that I'm thinking I should have. I seem to have a little under 8,000, but others seem to have upward of 11,000.
However, this could being up some discussion. Now that I think back, I may have brought that upon myself. It may be easy to confuse Styles with Real Tracks. I guess I'm more concerned about getting my hands on all of the Real Tracks that I can. Paying extra for Styles is kind of like paying extra for MS Word templates. They're helpful and time-saving, but I can certainly create them myself.
What's everyone's thoughts on an abundance of Styles? Worth paying for, or is that just being lazy? I kind of wish that I could get a more streamlined list of Real Tracks and/or Styles that gear toward New Orleans funk shuffle. Trying to find these and putting them together in a good ensemble can be a bit time-consuming. I'd be happy to forego most of the country Real Tracks and Styles.

I think of Styles like some programs are increasingly using AI: to get close quickly. I still prefer to choose individual RealTracks, making, as you say, your own style. However, I’m a composer and arranger who intentionally tries not to make something already familiar. I doubt that would be what most BIAB users are doing.

I use RealStyles to "get close quickly" as Matt states, then add/subtract RealTracks based on the needs of the song. I find RealStyles convenient to my workflow, but new RealStyles are also the main reason I upgrade each year. After I upgrade I'll limit the StylePicker to the new RealStyles and give them a good workout as I work new songs. Keeps me fresh, or at least I think so.
We'll see what this next upgrade brings...

It just seems that the All Xtra Styles PAK for $349 is a bit overpriced. I don't care for a ton of them.

It just seems that the All Xtra Styles PAK for $349 is a bit overpriced. I don't care for a ton of them. Yeah, not caring for the full breadth of what PGMusic offers just comes with the territory. They just offfer SO much. On the other hand, this past August the PAKs were on sale for about half price, so if you're patient you can wait for a better price. I THINK they do the summer sale most years. Can't recall if they do it during the new version roll out or not, but suspect we'll find out soon enough...

I looked up my style count, and it's about the same as yours. If you go to the All Packages purchase page, and under UltraPAK it says it comes with: 7500+ Styles (Midi and RealStyles).
I agree that it's daunting trying to find a style for a particular song. It's been mentioned on the Forum before that it would be nice if AI could somehow be harnessed to help. For sure when I DO find a style I like, I mark it as a Favorite so it's easier to find again. If I find a RealStyle that's close to what I'm after, I substitute in one or more RealTracks that I like, then of course, save it as a new name and add to Favorites.

How can I edit that style? I like the drums and the overall sound, but I want to use this for 3/4 tunes, like "O Tannenbaum" and such. I'm also trying to do the 3/4 time sig in a swing 8th note pattern.
I tried changing the 4/4 to 3/4 in Xmas style, but every measure now has a 3/4 label in it and the red underline, as if I did a Bar Settings change for each measure, and the toolbar still shows the tune in 4/4 in ev8.
