Thanks for your answers and suggestions,

I use BIAB 2010.5 Build 20 on a Macbook Pro.

I've just checked again, when I type CMaj7b5 I just get that "nope, try-again" sounding beep.
CMaj9#11 : ok, but what if I don't want a 9th in my chord ?

On a more general level, how come BIAB provides some highly complicated (and jazz sounding) chords while I'm sure not all BIAB users play jazz, and doesn't accept simpler ones like Cm add2 (this one being very often used in pop and jazz music) ? Who chose ? On which criteria ? Could it be possible to work all together (PG Music and users) on a new and more complet chord list ?

BIAB has gradually become very sophisticated as well as easy, especially with RealTracks, which I plan to use much more than I do today. But whereas with midi I can always put my hands into the midi events, with audio files I can't !
