A little over a year ago, I taught myself to play electric lead (in one long night).
There's been a whole bunch of noise in our house since.
I have a hard time putting down my guitar(s) - or doing anything else.

At the beginning, I had little knowledge of amps or guitar effects.
It was all a mystery.
(No longer the case).

Along the way, I tried as many amps as I could get my hands on.
The free ones first and later many of the gotta-pay-for ones.

Took me a long time before I was willing to pay for S-Gear, even though Tom Adams and Dave Bell both swear by it.
They were right. It is THE only one you need. The one you should have if you are serious about software amps. Hands down,

I could give opinions on all the others if anyone wants to know....

BUT....

There is one free amp - and all the typical effects you might need - that is well worth your time if you are looking for a freebee...

Get everything on this page:

Load up the standalone host (NA Live Rig) and play...
It is Sweeeeeeet!
It is my 2nd go-to.
(Close to the sound quality of S-gear).

(And I have Amplitube 5 MAX - with every amp and effect you could ever think of...good stuff, but...)
(And Guitar Rig Pro 7 - which ends up very far down on my list)
(And BIAS FX.... and.... and....and.... etc...etc...)
